Most people know me as Indie Monet. I’ve always been into makeup and all things beauty-related since High school. I started back in 2017 overwhelmed with college, I knew I could regain my drive by doing something like eyelash extensions since beauty was my passion. Eyelash extensions weren’t as popular as they are now. I saw potential in the industry and I knew I could bring lashes to new heights. I took a training class and a month later, I started working in a space with a popular hairstylist. I gained clientele quickly and in 2018, I moved working downtown near Centennial park at a lash bar with other lash artists. I was there for about eight months. I then realized that I could make this a career so I ventured off into my own space where I am now in the Brookhaven area. I’ve been there for 3+ years gaining a wide range of clients. From big celebrities Instagram influencer’s to your local nurses! Through the power of Instagram, being an Atlanta native hard work, and Jesus I took off and created a path for other girls! I feel like my success gave girls like me confidence in the beauty industry, making it a career. You can be as big as you want to be by doing whatever you’re passionate about.
